1915 "Root" Bottle

What is the 1915
"Root" Bottle?
In the early 1900's there was no soft drink bottle style that was synonomous with the name
Coca-Cola. The ROOT bottle is the prototype of the now famous
"hobbleskirt" bottle, which later evolved into what is used today - a
streamlined contour bottle. The ROOT bottle was never actually put into production due to
the much exaggerated hobbleskirt shape that made it difficult to produce and market. Comes
in a gift box.
